yeah...I ended up getting a TP2 for the wife this week when the price dropped to $199. Still debating on dropping my Intrepid as well but of course I will have to pay for that mistake.

Upgraded to the new firmware from sprintpcs.com under downloads for intrepid.

Also, be sure to check out that thread for how to get the new bing to work with intrepid. It has turn by turn directions.

Can you note the specific improvements? The discussion in the linked thread doesn't seem quite as positive...

No changelog...Fail. Also funny that this is available from Sprint but not on Samsung's Intrepid downloads page.

Well, I disagree with them completely.

There are a lot of navigation/menu improvements that I see, in addition to the fact it seems like it's more responsive, less locky, etc.

I'm very happy thus far.

When you hit "menu" the way it displays is different, some of the other things I've noticed that are different is the way text is displayed, and also the way contacts(text) are displayed, some of the popups like when a call can't go through, etc.

One issue I have with the bing workaround is that the new bing can't see your contact addresses, it seems.

Did anyone every figure out how to put the start menu in Alphabetical order?
