Galaxy Tab getting Gingerbread

I can't believe no one reported on this yet...the significance of this is that the Galaxy Tab is VERY similar to the other Galaxy S series and the drivers and etc are compatible...aka if the tablet gets Gingerbread then there is really no reason for Samsung not to let the other Galaxy S devices get it as well as it will require minimum effort..unless they want to be jerks on purpose lol

So in a way this is a good sign...

there was a message that samsung set up that basically they were sorry for not updating in the past and they will do it in the future to make up for it.

It was on engadget I believe. I will have to search for it, but I believe there was a post about gingerbread being on the Galaxy Tablet and they said they are committed to regular updates, but wouldn't be holding out for gingerbread. something like that.
