Updated benchmarks..this is a minor tweaked version of the stock from the Galaxy S.."Your Device" is the Galaxy S phone running 2.1..now imagine that running 2.2...

The "Your Device" is the Vibrant aka the Galaxy S..the other one shown in the benchmark is it with old firmware...And yes it still has Android 2.1..imagine it with 2.2...(also once we get an I/O official fix we should have around 1700 score even with Eclair)

Here is the full article...it wasn't fully adjusted as there was a bug in the I/O which seems to be a fix for..but otherwise it wipes the floor with the other devices as expected :)

After watching the video in the link you have there. That screen shot is actually from the nexus 1 running 2.2 he had.

The only thing the captivate aka vibrant aka galaxy s aka epic really won in was 3d rendering on his tests. He did state that the hummingbird is a faster processor if given the chance with froyo.
