Any news on bootloader??
 

So after hearing that the new Motorola Droid 2/X phones are going to be difficult to ROM customize on because of digitally signed bootloaders, anyone know what Samsung practices are?

Is there a good chance that Samsung is going to be locking the Galaxy S /Pro line down too?

What is their history with this sort of thing?

The Galaxy S is probably one of the easiest devices to root....and it has been confirmed that that root works for the Vibrant and Captivate...

The only issue with samsung is they encrypt/precompile their drivers...so while we can load up custom roms, though the base of the custom roms have to be from samsung.
