My wife and i may be moving to tmobile prepaid soon. Im looking to get a couple galaxy s 2 devices. The prepaid sims will work with this phone right? Can we port our verizon numbers over?

Yes they will work. I almost went that route myself, even bought a TMo prepaid SIM for 1.99 on their website!

I can, but if it's the tmobile 50.00 prepaid your refering to, it is unlimited minutes and texts, but only 100 mB of data then it's throttled to 2g. Not very useful if you use data.

Try the $30- prepaid plan 1500 min tex / 30 data ...

which I use cause I am not a big talker ..

30 MB of data wouldn't last most of us here 1/2 a day! I average 3-5 GB a month.

However the $30- prepaid plan that includes 100 minutes and unlimited text and data(5 GB at 3/4G speed, then throttled to 2g) may be an option if you don't talk a lot, or use google voice and that GrooveIP VOIP program so it uses data instead of minutes!

That's the plan I was going to try out Until I looked up coverage and found that I am in 2g Tmobile coverage 80% of the time, and I'm in the 2nd largest city in my state.

There's a $60 and $70 a month option as well which includes 2GB and 5GB of data respectively.
