phone not saving data on sd card

suddenly my phone is saving everything to internal memory and i cant find the setting to tell my phone to save to sd card. any help please

Do you have any space on your SD card? Settings\Storage\SD card

yes only half full. just thought i could find that setting to tell the phone to save to sd card

There is a setting under the camera app to save to SD card. Other files will require a bit more Tinkering. :-)
