Cannot get personal reg settings to work upon first boot
 

So i created an ext package with all my reg settings that i have made for the device but once the device boots from flash...none of the reg entries seem to have taken...i have omitted cm guardian from the rom to make sure it wasnt the issue...cannot figure this out!

Could you post the ext? Also is it a provxml or .reg?
Make sure you have this EXT at the very end of your kitchen so nothing overwrites it.

it is a reg...will rename folder and see if it does the trick...

also you could if nothing else works make into a provxml to run at autorun time. I have this problem with start menu icons.

is it an oem or an EXT?

Im assuming your still using VK

I had that issue. It was a regedit for a custom taskbar. I never narrowed it down, it was from an OEM I did that wouldn't overwrite one from a phonedialler OEM. To fix I had to reset the device and it took. About that time I had my brain fart and have noticed anything since switching to the VK by calk. I assumed it was a provxml somewhere, but never nailed it down...

Why not just make a reg cab that's installed with customizations? Nothing's gonna overwrite that.

ok i got it all down...it was that other ext's were overwriting the reg settings so it got ignored...renamed the ext...installs last. thanks for all your help guys!
