Cool Text messaging Ringtones
 

Hi, can anyone point me to a site that has free alert style ringtones similar to the iphone? I dont want talking and music style, but more like cool chimes, tones...stuff like that. There was a site i went last week, however I dont remember the same of it. I have searched the web for ringtones, but the majority are music style.

i have the entire sound pack extracted from an iphone, as i wanted the sounds from it also, but there all in .caf file format and i couldnt find a caf to mp3 or wav free converter. winmo always sucks when it comes to system sounds

I found some of the iPhone .caf files converted to MP3 here

I picked these up a while back. I've never messed with an iPhone, so I don't know if they legitimately came from it or not. I just saw the download one day.

After you have chosen a few new mp3's to use for text messaging, where do those new files go? I'm assuming I'll need to use TC, or some such, just don't know where to place them.

For text messages/system sounds you want to place them in the \windows folder. As for ringtones, you can place them in the \My Documents\My Ringtones or \Windows\Rings folder
