Hi Tsowen,

need your help on the taskbar. if you remember before that i mess up while loading and unloading 6v1 and afterwhich i've permission error reloading 6v1.

i've cleared it with dropping clean shellres.dill.0409 and this kinda resetted everything. Now i'm on the based of 5v1.7 with sunny's battery pack and i believe 6v1's HTCstartmenuservice & Largetitlebar.dll.

do you happen to have the clean HTCstartmenuservice and Largetitlebar.dll. i plan just to drop only the pchanoverbmp.dll of 6v3. Until hopefully, Gadget come back and had the HTCLTB and largetitlebar resolve for the distortion icon on Largetitlebar for HTC HD which maybe could be the causes from the resolution of 480x800 screen.

here's my HTCStartmenuservice.dll , Largetitlebar.dll, HTCLTB and shellres.dll for your reference in zip.

thanks
fab

QVGA (updated, 4/1/09)

i added a cdma_rssi_ppc.dll to my QVGAv1.2 here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...&postcount=613

thanks adam, i used your icons and only edited the color, as i like green better than blue.

Kind of interesting.
After installing Misfortunes v2 taskbar, My device is no longer recognizing activesynce in the taskbar! It does know that it's working- and it shows up properly on my PC- but the icon isn't changing. And as such, my PhoneWeaver profile thinks that I'm just connected to a non-syncing external power supply, so it's not changing my profile.
Anyone else see this? It only started happening when I manually installed the shellres...mui file.

Re: Custom Taskbar

before installing any taskbar, do you still have to install the following cab files?

1. First install the sdkcerts.cab
2. Install Taskbar%20Icons%20v2.cab
3. Install darklord battery metre v2_fixed.cab
4. To have your battery meter give you actual % such as 33% instead of in increments of 10 install nuePowerDriverCDMADiamond-100-v1.0-cab.cab
