If you are talking about the top bar across the top (from red at left to green at right) it is called Vista Hide Battery.

95% done with the taskbar and hope to have it out tommorow, thanks to MysticGenius this will be both CDMA and GSM version, also while I am thanking people, thanks 12aon for the help with the Ev/1X icons, sunnyin86 for the battery and thanks to the original artist from Deviant Art who's icons I used to finish the taskbar due to time restraints and how much time it takes to make all custom icons. Once I am done I will release the CAB and also the dll files and images as well since I have a few different types for some images such as speakers, Active Sync, bluetooth and Ev/1X icon's for those who want to swap out images, once I catch my breath I can take some personal request. Lastly a HUGE thanks to my sidekick and partner-in-crime HTCLeener I could never have done it without her as this is "OUR" taskbar.

taskbar related question, my dropdown to x out programs is gone when on homescreen, how do i get it back. happened when i uninstalled quick menu. removed all folders and startup exe in windows also.

I think you'll need to reinstall both HTC Enlarge Start Menu and HTC Task Manager for the TP to get this fixed. I ran into the same problem with Quick Menu last year.

No, folks.. the .zip files that tsowen and I are transferring between each other are not 'the release' zips.. we're just going through some final images and such just making sure we aren't missing anything and that everything flows as it should..

.. which is why there's a password on the .zip files.

A release is set for tomorrow or Wednesday, depending on how much is left to be done.

Included:

• CDMA_RSSI_PPC.dll and all the icons I made for it (not sure if you needed them, but just in case)
• Edited phcanOverbmp.dll
• Edited tapres.192.dll (I changed the voicemail icon to match)
• Edited WLMMessengerResources.192.dll

All the dll's have been signed already.

This is what I figured out after some observations.
1) It happened during switching of radio bands, but not all the time. There's no definitive pattern. Sometimes the signal changes in area A and sometimes in area B. Not time dependant, sometimes at night sometimes during the day.
2) When it happens, it uses the band icons (G, 3G, E and H) from tapres.96.dll , all other taskbar icons are from phcanverbmp.dll
3) When you invoke data connection (or softreset), all the icons from phcanoverbmp.dll come back.
4) All above occurs even after I reinstalled phcanoevrbmp, tapres and shellres.
Until now, there's no solution yet.
