Anybody know where to get a 6.5.x taskbar...preferably black or black with a splash of colour? I just started using the new manila 2.5 2011 and I am having some issues with the taskbars I usually use.

chopperguy918, are you using a TP or TP2? If TP, I found a working custom Taskbar for OMJ's 28014 v1.5 Sense 2.5 ROM for my VGA Sprint Diamond over at XDA... Not sure if it works well with the new 2011 Sense 2.5 build though. As... I was not even aware that the 2011 build had been fully ported to VGA yet. Nonetheless, aluke's 2.5.x V6 taskbar is tasteful and worth a try.

I just got the touch pro 2 and LOVE it. I havent built up the nerve to Flash anything yet and was wondering if your taskbars could be installed on a locked stock ROM?

yes they can. make sure you install the sdkcerts before you install these though. I think to older sdkcerts expired with the new year so you may need to search xda for the new ones.

Thanks for the reply. I installed a couple of different taskbar cabs and ran into a problem with my windows media player not playing my ringtones and really not even opening so I had to clear the storage on my phone and start over. Have you heard of this problem before? Could old SDK certs have caused that?

I just updated my HTC HD2 to the latest Rom 1.66.407 and installed tsowen's taskbar 6 v 3.3 lite, but now no matter how good my reception is, no signal bars are showing. It was working so great with the older Rom version. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Hi Tsowen,

Can you make start icon without text for HD2? I tried the one I created for my Touch HD but it locked up my HD2 and had to Hreset.

Very great job Tsowen.
I'm currentyl using v1 and find it beautiful.
Just noticed the network signal level (vertical white bars) only appear when making a call or taking an incoming call. When not phoning, doesn't show up ...
Not a big deal though, just a bug (?) report.
