Re: Custom Taskbar
I posted this in the mightyrom thread last night, but I think it may be an incompatibility issue between the two so I'll ask here. I am running mightyrom 6
"Why does my taskbar show the little quickgps satellite icon whenever my data connection is not active with this rom? Any way to fix it? The only thing I can think of, is that I installed the % battery icon from http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=54514 ." Edit: Someone replied to my other post and said it might be that these icons are for 6.1 and I am running 6.5 now. Is there a 6.5 version of the battery 1% icons? |

Re: Custom Taskbar
tsowen,
Im using the original tsowentaskbar on the verizon tp2, and liking it. question is, how can i implement Yay4Juggs_Taskbar[VZW] to fix the verizon speaker icon color thing while keeping your battery icon with the percentage written above? i like that much better than just the number as Yay4Juggg's fix has. Thanks, I'll take my answer off the air. |

That is very nice. Leave it to the master.:thumbright: Quote:
You should read the first post. It's actually very easy. You have to extract the right shellres file from your windows directory and edit it. You only need a few tools.http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/images/icons/icon7.gif |

Re: Custom Taskbar
First off I want to say thankyou to all the people that were involved in all this!! Its so awesome!! I have a few questions that I hope someone can help me out with? I am very new to all this and to be honest I can go as far as installing cabs and thats it. After that I am lost!! LOL! Anyways I installed tsowentaskbar6v2.1(lite).zip on my TP2 Verizon 6.1 stock rom. I have some questions regarding the EV icon and the battery icon? Before I installed this I have always had the 3G icon now that I installed this I have EV. Is there a way a noobie like me can change this so I have the 3G symbol?(hopefully with a cab) My second question is regarding the battery icon. In my taskbar it reads 100% if I go into settings/power it shows the battery power very low almost all the way to the left and its red? Now I know my battery has to be somewhat down cause I have had it on all day but never used it so it shoudnt read a 100%. How can I fix this? I installed sdkcerts and nueBatteryTP2CDMA-100-v1.0-cab. The only thing I can think of as to why my battery is this way is nueBatteryTP2CDMA-100-v1.0-cab is different from the first post. From what I have found is its been updated since the first post in this thread and the links to the nuebattery in the first post of this thread are all dead ends. I am only guessing this is why my battery is this way I realy havent got a clue? Here is the link for my nuebattery I installed its the one at the bottom of the list on this link that I installed.
Code:
http://www.nuerom.com/BlogEngine/page/nuePowernueBattery.aspx P.s. Or should I install the nuePowerDriver for Titan/Vogue second one down on that link? |
Re: Custom Taskbar
I noticed last night when I plugged my TP2 in the led light doesnt lite up red when it is charging since I installed this? (PLEASE SEE ABOVE POST) In
fact I am wondering if any of the notifications will work with the green light as well? I havent tested those yet just the red charging light. Can someone help me with this as well please? |
Re: Custom Taskbar
I am running these taskbars on TP2 and no problem with Red Led light, could be a custom ROM or other modification you are running.

Re: Custom Taskbar
@tsowen Thanks for the reply! As far as the led light it only happens when I install your tsowentaskbar6v2.1(lite).zip? I am not running any custom roms its all stock 6.1. So there must be something going on there? I havent got a clue? Please help???? Also could you please help me with my post (#1577)??? Thanks again for time!
