Yes it works with WM6.1 and WM6.1 only. Remember to install SDKCerts.cab before you install the taskbar.

Remember to have these reg keys:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\security\ResOver\Bitmaps]
"BatteryIconLevels"=dword:65 (Hex) or 101 (Dec)
"BatteryIconIdStart"=dword:3e9 (Hex) or 1001 (Dec)
"BaseDll"="phcanOverbmp.dll"

Re: Custom Taskbar

one of the taskbar i installed added this to the registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\security\ResOver\Bitmaps\Batter yIconLevels = (dword) 65]
"BatteryIconLevels"=dword:00000065

doesn't seem that belong in there only:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\security\ResOver\Bitmaps]
"BatteryIconLevels"=dword:00000065
"BatteryIconIdStart"=dword:000003e9
"BaseDll"="phcanOverbmp.dll"
"BaseId"=dword:00000000

Re: Custom Taskbar

So I have to manually update the registry to get it to work?? They dont automatically take care of that?? Are there any links around that point me to the newest SDKCerts file.... ??

Re: Custom Taskbar

Are there any complete taskbars in a cab format where I just need sdkcerts, the 1% cab, and the taskbar cab? I dont want to have to do any reg editing...

Re: Custom Taskbar

tsowen, thanks for the tray icons. they're great.

i do have one question though. i since there are 10 battery bars, shouldn't they go down in increment of 10 as the battery drains?

ie: if battery is 93-95% it should still show full battery until it reaches 90% then one bar should go down.. right now if you have 94% for example it will remove 1 bar when it still should show FULL bars until it reaches 90%.

it's not a big deal but it would make the bars match battery levels more accurately.

in the below image it should still read 10 bars but one is missing by 94-95%

I think tsowen is using the round-down idea. Since at 94% you don't have full battery, he coded the graphic to show one less bar. The same would apply if you're at 10%, there should be 1 bar. If you're at 4%, there won't be any. Personally, I think it's a bit more accurate.
