Thanks for the kind words. Means a lot coming from yoou. It took a while to get the edits done, but I am quite happy with the results. The only issues I have are:

1. The notification enhancement signal bars are incorrect. When there is one bar, none show, three and two show, two is good, I beleave four is good and none is good. It looks ike the wrong icons are referenced.

2. I want to change my WM 6.5 wait icon back to the original one I had. This cab installed the WM 6.1 wait cursor. I need to find the one I had (four small colored balls that went around) and replace the ones in the cab file.

Other then that, all is good. Please keep upthe good work. I truly love my phone :headbang:

It can be either or
BatteryIconLevels"=dword: 101 (Dec) the hex would be 65
"BatteryIconIdStart"=dword: 1001 (Dec) the hex would be 3E9

Try to use Resco Registry to edit it.

Check my WM 6.5 thread, in there just download the files and just swap out the bmp's for the wait cursor.

Thanks for the link. I was able to extract the bitmaps and add them to my shellres.192.dll. Now I have the WM 6.5 wait icon. Attached is a new cab with this addition. For anyone that may want to use this cab, please note, it is for VGA devices and has rA icon replacing the E icon. For any of you on Alltel, this is what you want. You may want the newer battery icon since I used an older one from TSOwen (I like it better). This cab is for WM 6.5 and has updated icons for the notification enhancement.

By the way, TSOwen, do you know of a newer version of te notification enhancement for WM 6.5 that shows the corrrect number of bars for your signal strength? The one I am using shows no bars for one bar, two bars for three bars and I think the rest are OK. Thanks again for all your help. :headbang:

I had try Resco registry and it's the same:
- when i edit key from (DEC) to (HEX), it stay in DEC
- when i delete the two keys, and create new directly in (HEX), after save the keys are automaticly back in (DEC) :scratch: Don't understand why...

I had SDKCerts and Enable Rapi installed.
I use WM6.1 French and it's the stock rom. I have never flashed yet (cause no rom available yet)
Maybe it's for that... :(

I know I have been asking for a cab (sorry tsowen I am sure you are bogged down) to make this work due to whatever it is I don't seem to be doing right, but I never gave up trying.This issue has now dug under my skin! I can't figure it out. I now HAVE to get this figured out for my own peice of mind at this point. My first real hurdle of noob-hood so to speak. I have swapped start icons and start text already as well as updated the data connection with HCTLeeners icons, all with no help other than reading the instructions with no problems. I want to do this myself BUT need guidance now.

I have added the orange striped Ra icon I cut from tsowens Ra icon file to the tapres from the taskbar 6.2.1 as well as had one from dalepl (thank you again!) that had the blue tsowen Ra icon added. Every time I have tried to swap the dlls (not together of course, only when one didn't work!) so I can have the Ra icon I now get the wifi icon which is flashing constantly with the green and red arrows and red X as if its attempting to connect. I have no network icon at all now, no ugly E or Ra. Where do I go from here and what would cause this to happen? I am using the TP on stock Alltel ROM (another subject I need to address soon) if this helps. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to ask but I didnt get a response to my PM on XDA-dev but have you been at all able to look into an icon for my 'showcase' task manager

this is already out unless you are looking for a diff one.
