I did after a soft-reset, not sure why. I haven't played with it much though as I'm still using mine, lol.

Update: Budney, you need a tiny fix in the file: skin2.xml needs to be renamed to skin.xml in order to be recognized by rlToday (at least for me).

Ah shoot! I did forget to correct the skin file name brfore I zipped everything.

I remember hearing something about this on the rltoday forums. I will try to look into it.

I'll be honest: outside of what I did with that Skin posted above, which is stupid-simple, I really have no idea about advanced plugins.

But, what you usually can do is open the file via IE on your computer and it usually tells you what line the error/what it is, to give you an idea. That's how I test my coding for homescreens.

For more advanced stuff, try the rlToday skin forum--they're very helpful there.

It sounds like you need Mortscript to run this. If you run into any more problems you may want to PM boxt or hannip, both are Mort gurus.

ya i had the scripts running but still couldnt seem to get the skin to do what i wanted... i gave up for now and ditched what i was using... maybe ill try again in a week or so it was just driving me crazy that i couldnt get it to do what i wanted... seems so simple yet it was soo hard

Lets get some more cool RLtoday themes! I like running this over PhoneAlarm because it gives less error problems and so forth. Or post a How-To alter Rltoday so I begin making my own!!

Ok, I was checking out the RL site's forums and I noticed a few decent things. I really want those glass colored icons on my rltoday screen to represent a few items. I was running Mal's rL today setup:



I want to replace those 4 items with 4 glassy icons representing SMS, Voicemail, E-Mail, and Bluetooth. If it is possible let me know how or who could possibly try to do this!
