Custom M2D OEM Theme Requests

This is a request thread for M2D themes for those that cook their own rom.

You find me a link to a M2D theme, and I'll make it ready for your kitchen! That's right, I DO NOT create themes, but if you have one you like, I can make it so you can cook it into your rom!

Here is the MegaPack_Manilla2d_Skin3_MM_Black_ICE OEM. I can't include pics of all of them, but I will include a link to pics.

Below I have provided my megapack OEM which contains everything you need for your favorite kitchen. This has been tested on the following kitchens: dogguys, vetvito's, and of course PPCKitchen's.

This is OEM Package is for those that cook their own roms. Take the contents and unarchive them into your... :

Dogguy Kitchen: ...OEM directory
VetVito Kitchen: ...OEM directory
PPCKitchen: ...USER_OEM directory

Notes:
PPCKitchen:
- The OEM's show up under Apps_rstg_m2d, today Themes under Apps_rstg_TodayThemes
- The Skins OEM will automatically select a today theme.
- Buildos will only let you select one skin

If you are having issues, let me know. You should already have working knowledge of how to use your preffered kitchen...

PLEASE REPORT any "Faulty Skins" so I can fix them! :)

GUID Notes:

The above GUIDs are used within this MegaPack. 800 is the main OEM, and 801 - 819 are in use by what I have already. So come up with a unique number say starting at 850 - 899 if you are compelled to share yours with the community. I encourage sharing! :smile:

hh_*.* - Theme files.
Theme.m2dct - A zip archive containing a M2D Customizer Theme.

Here's how to:
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
1. Copy one of my premade themes to a different directory and rename it. You want to rename both the directory name and the name inside the OEM's option.xml

2. Rename the 3 GUID's to 850 +.
--a - DSM file
--b - RGU file
--c - Inside option.xml file for buildos
<Guid type="p">ca749e48-9ef9-4e2b-8359-304100281801</Guid>

The last three numbers is all you want to change here....Remember the GUID notes above, and yes, THEY ALL MUST BE THE SAME GUID!

3. Take your existing theme and copy just the hh_*.* files into the OEM and overwrite any duplicates.

4. DO NOT COPY THE FILE HTCHomeSettings.xml. I used the same one for all these themes and a few others I have and it works just fine! This is in most of the M2D Customizer themes, but they are incomplete, as the customizer just imports portions of this file!!!!

How to process .m2dct Files

m2d_Theme.m2dct - M2D Customizer Theme
To process these type of themes:
1. Rename file to m2d_Theme.zip (yep, it's just a regular ol' archive)
2. Unarchive normally to it's own directory.
3. Now copy all the hh_*.* files into your new OEM.
--Remember to skip the HTCHomeSettings.xml file!!!
-- You can also skip the preview.jpg file, it's there for M2DC.

This has worked on all themes I have seen, I do not guarantee this to work on all themes. So if you have a theme that you have been using for a while and it is not compatible with M2DC, now it is.

okay, does anyone know what the difference is between the OEM_MegaPack_Manila2D_OEM_v2.19 posted here, and the RSTG_Sprint_OEM_v1.4 -=-=-=- RSTG_Sprint_M2D_OEM_v2.14 posted on his other thread?

I will be creating and flashing a new rom as soon as my replacement touch arrives..

The easy way is to click the links to the original authors and use M2DC to install them....

This is a great work!!!!Can you update this 2.19 megapack to v2.21.plzzzzzz. In update 21 on m2d homewidget when u receiving voicemail it overwrites the calendar line.Version m2d 19 not doeing this.it bugs me a lot.Or may be it can be fixed in 2.19 by adding/removing of some files? m2d 21 is on cab,and Im not that smart,to mess with your OEM megapack except skins.Plzzzzz....
