First page, second post has the links, but if you have a touch, read the last few posts. It doesn't work right.

I believe that eyephone dialer was made for GSM phones, not CDMA, unless you have a GSM Touch, then my bad. If you have a Sprint or CDMA Touch, you may problems with 911 and ##**# functions, among others. I may be wrong, but one way to know is for you to post where you found the dialer.

Re: Dialpads...post yours

Are there any dialers that have the call history on the dialer screen itself? My previous phones were LG, and when you press the phone button, you get the call history immediately. For those of us who have a fairly limited number of people who regularly call (or dial), and an aluminum hard case preventing easy access to the slider or touch screen, this would be a real time saver.

The last call is already shown, and there's room for several more below.

...of course, I could just record voice dial entries for those contacts.

i use the stock dialer with the smartdialer cab (attached below) it does just what you describe. it has the call history AND contact list right on your dialer screen. i love it better than any other dialer config i've tried yet..... i'll post a screencap when i can...

Re: Dialpads...post yours

Tried the Smartdialer, but the dialer screen is now white. There are functions there, but no graphics.

Tried enabling and disabling, soft reset a couple times, but still the same. Can't uninstall b/c it doesn't show in the list of programs to uninstall.

I use Sprite Backup, so I'll just restore from last night's backup.

My Verizon XV6800 is running the stock ROM with HTC Home. Any known issues with the HTC Smartdialer and this config? Should I update the ROM and try again? I was considering updating the ROM to unlock the GPS anyway.

Thanks,
Spencer

good call. things I don't do on a daily basis, but I tested (the ##) and it didn't work. Something I can live without, since I can just deinstall and soft reset.....911 on the other hand......

anybody have any knowledge of an Iphone Dialer that works with CDMA??
