How do I change the owner info screen graphic?
I have my phone ( vx6700) go to the owner info screen when turned on and it is just a tap anywhere to get past it. I would like to change the lame graphic that is the top 1/3 of the screen. Does anyone know where this file is? Or even the name?
It is mostly blue with a huge MY on the left side... |

Perfect!! I looked at the gif file and it is the blue background. There is a huge white 'MY' on top of the background. Is there a way to edit this??

probably not since the OS places the text over the background. this is the same background that is used during the initial setup wizard.

So there is no way to edit or delete the "my info" text in this? Cause I've updated mine how I like it... but the text just needs to go!

What if you create an image you like in photoshop, the correct size and image you want, name it myinfo.96.gif and write over the one on the phone? I did this for my splashscreen, and it worked great!! Maybe it would work for your situation!

thats what we are already doing. You can copy the file out of the windows folder, edit and hack it all you want... but the actual words "my info" aren't part of the picture. I already edited the image banner to my hearts content, but the words "my info" are infront of it still.

Ah...OK....sorry to get redundant on ya then, Unfortunately I have not done that, so I would have to explore it later, If I see anything that looks good I will send it your way!

All I'd like to know is how to edit the text "my info" to whatever I want... like nothing... I'd rather it just be a part of my image... so I can have my own banner.
