s2w HTC blackdrop theme

ok some issues that i ran into instaling this ...

when i click on the square for programs i get the error that htcprograms canot be opened, canot be found ... i read that it changed to folderview.exe in WM 6.1 ... u would prob have to do some xml editing to correct this which i dont know the first thing about.. still a noob ... can someone recommend a free xml editor so i can just change the path.. thanks

has far as the weather .. picked my city .. it trys to download and it can never retrieve...? i am able to get online from my phone ..... any ideas?

i added remove bottom bar in startup folder.. all works... but then i wanted it back and removed the exe file.. but on startup it is still trying to load that exe.. i guess there is something still in registry still trying to find ... what the correct way to uninstall this .... do i have to remove something from registry now?

i have been trying to get the blackdrop theme to work on my mogul gor the longest... i download the blackdrop files from files from this thread and extract them into the hhc icons folder and it still doesnt work.... someone please tell me what im doin wrong!!!!

so im back on blackdrop and this time i installed everything except hhc customizer to save mem! so im runnin contact only on my htc home plug and im using weatherpanel plugin. my problem is that when i switch im not getting the full effect of the cube! im runnin dicno to hide the bottom bar but everytime i swipe even though the bars not there the cube is not taking that space's place if you get what im saying? any suggestions?

dciNoBar.exe in your other thread...when you put it in your Startup, does it hide the bottom bar forever....or does it reappear if I remove it from the startup menu and restart my phone?

yea u wont see the bottom bar as long as dcinobar is in startup but if u remove it will show again after a restart...

Thanks for sharing this theme with us. Cant we fix our picture in the background cause this email & text blocking everything. This can be improved. Overall its good

You see where I changed the wmp to s2p... now do the same for the opera.

Once you change the path just save the edit and copy it to the htc blackdrop in your RLtoday folder and "ok" the overwrite to the original skin for blackdrop.

Hope that helps. Remember I already changed the wmp to s2p in the example above to make it easy on you and show you where its done.

Same goes to you maniak3, instead of pie and wmp you remap your path to a different program path within your device.

yeah, so when i edit the xml and save and replace i go back to home and i get a rlClock error that repeatly bleeps my phone and locks it up... i soft rebooted and got to settings before rltoday loaded and turned it off and reverted back to the original skin.xml and it works fine. i was just trying to remap some icons like above .... any ideas?

also having error when trying to load the hhc icons.... i got them dropped in the right place, im sure of it... just get and unexpected error when trying to load them

What I am getting is that there is a fault in the xml you edited. THe slightest mistake will cause it to go into errors with RLtoday. I suggest you double check your xml and check for a misspelled word, an extra space or missing and/or double quotes, could be a simple thing like that to make RLtoday fail.

So go back and edit your xml carefully. Hope that helped.

For some reason Htc home customizer is not playing nice with 6.1. Unfortunately I am still away om a business venture and don't have the s2w blackdrop pack with all the codes and such. But expect a revamp soon that will work well with 6.1. thanks.
