Okay, so I installed Wisbar Advance 2 and Wisbar Desktop plugin. I then copied osx_wa to the wisbar advance\themes\ folder. I then copied osx_wad to \themes\destop ? Ive tried putting it just in \themes but it didnt seem to work...

does the final path look like this?

\themes\osx_wad ? or am I supposed to not put the folder there, just the contents..can you clarify this.. well when I put it in \themes\desktop\osx\

and I start up wis bar advance and chose osx as my desktop theme, I only get the "slide to unlock" page, it does nothing when i tap anywhere, no other pages are there..and when I installed the iphone dialer, it doesnt look correct, the numpad seems right and so does the background, but the bar on top is really weird looking and wrong..

whats going on?

konceptz - thx for the help in both posting links and instructions, we all appreciate it more than you know.

however i still think there is some confusion with the install.

could you tell us with rom you started with? i tried the install on top of colonels 3.5 final and had some background and icon issues to say the least. should we make sure any other software is uninstalled?

i understand that the 'osx_wa' folder sits \Program Files\Lakeridge\WisBar Advance\Themes\

but where exactly do the 'osx_wad' contents go. i know the \Themes folder already has the 'Desktop' folder in it, are we to overwrite that with the 'osx_wad' contents?

finally, what do we have to do to activate the theme. select it in wisbar? soft reset? do we have to do anything with wisbar desktop?

thanks a million.

Ok I have gotton a little bit farther. When you finally install everything you will see the default Landscape Background. To fix this click and hold anywhere but on the icons this will bring up the menu. Select theme manager from the list --> Desktop theme, then select import of you dont see osx_wad in the list. There is an arrow to change directories however you may need to click the larger arrow to the right of the first and then navigate to your folder osx_wad. Also click on the desktop again to reveil the menu and select settings then check the button that you are using a palm treo. I have the clock and background but no buttons on the bottom.....I had them before but screwed things up so I reset everything and now its gone.

Ok I am still working on this but some help would be nice.......Anyone with a treo 700wx get everything to work? Ok so I have figured out that everything is there but some things are just out of the screen so Switching the setting to full screen shows the top of the Menu Icons which allows you to select adjust position and move it up. I also have the slider bar but it does not work. Anyone know if the slider works or is it just for looks???

Hopefully this will be useful to someone since I feel like I am talking to myself. The dialpad for the iphone theme does not work on 240X240 screens as of today and since a new release just went out on the 25th I don't think it is going to work for a while. Personally I have not gotton the slider to work but I am not positive that is an issue with the software.
