Custom Taskbar Request
As I have no idea what to do I'd like to request one, I personally like the Go Blue! Other icons and would just want the start menu flag as this:
Unpressed http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...chetmanr-1.png Pressed http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...atchetmanr.png I'm running windows mobile 6.1 on a CDMA QVGA Samsung i760 so I believe on I got the winflag size right... If someone could do this I'd be really grateful or even donate money to their paypal account. |

Ohh okay, yea I don't have the exact original cause right from the start after my hard reset I installed grigoris_a Taskbar V1 which modded everything on the taskbar from the flag to the icons...

Okay haha!! Sorry I thought you meant that ya needed the stock one, here it is though: http://schi760.fileave.com/shellres.96.dll.zip, do I need to resize the original png? I believe it's the correct size, thats what I used when I was using Wisbar Advance but I stopped using WA cause it started acting up and was lagging me some...
Or heres http://rapidshare.com/files/18259075..._TaskbarV1.rar girgoris_a Tasbkar V1's it's a different one, cause I replaced it with a superman one right now for the time being... -edit- The zip file bghatchetmanr is the ico image, then theres the shellres.96.dll, I couldn't find the shellres.96.dll.0409.mui anywhere on my phone, I think I might have it on the pc somewhere if you need that too. |
Re: Custom Taskbar Request
Well, now its good - just give me a second, I'll try to put the hatchetman into the shellres...

Ok, here you go. Attached shellres.96 with your new start-icon instead of the superman-icon.
You know how to change it on the device? First of all: I think you have already installed the sdkcert.cab, haven't you? Ok, then: 1. Copy the file to the sd-card (or has Samsung an internal storage?) 2. Rename the old one in the windows-folder to shellres.96.dll.bak 3. Put the new file into the windows-folder (use an advanced file-explorer like TotalCommander or Resco...) 4. Softreset After that you can delete the *.bak Enjoy and good luck |
Re: Custom Taskbar Request

Curious - the bgrhatchetmar.ico was size 22x26 (32), the later favicon.ico was size 22x22 (32) - and the superman-icon was 21x18 (32). I resized the favicon.ico to the "superman-size 21x18" (32) and put it into the shellres96 in attachment. Just try it out...
(make sure you take the right dll now :) |

I think, since you created an own folder, WM6.1 can't "see" the dll. Put it all togehter - on my HTC-device its the windows-folder, don't know what flag-pack on Samsung means. I'm sure, all taskbar-dlls has to be in the same folder.
If this is ok, we could try this: 1. Put the attached mui-file into the same folder as the other dlls 2. If this will not work, please post the OverrideIcon.dll from this folder, so I could try to modify it. |

Also flagpack was a download, it's like an AiO (All in One) flagpack, whole collection of the flags/winkey already modded for you to pick and choose from... They were also all in their each and own folder with names such as "Superman" "Mushroom" so on and et cetera... LoL I'll try this new one and see what happens. |
Re: Custom Taskbar Request
Alright - now I recognize, that this flagpack makes a certain influence to WM6.1 on Samsung, a bit different to HTC.
I've put your icon at the same place in the shellres.96 as the former superman-icon was placed. (Did it successful in this way with hundreds of icons in other taskbars). Grigoris' taskbar is using an OverrideIcon.dll instead of the PhcanOverbmp.dll and this must be supported with a reg-entry or with this flagpack.... From the distance I can't see exactly how it works on your device, above all I could only look over the taskbar V1. That's why I asked you for the OverrideIcon.dll from your variant to have a look over it. But the fastest solution may be to ask the developer of this taskbar, grigoris_a himself. Sorry if I made inconvenience for you... |
