Triangle Must Die!

Every thread I read has this Big Red "Important" Triangle. It keeps watching me and nagging me to do this, so, for the sake of my mental health, here goes...

Hello, All!

Heh. Well that was not so bad. Oh and in keeping with the tradition of asking a question with your first post...

I am an old school Win Dev, who became a Linux Dev, who moved on. I am looking for a First PPC Phone recommendation. Looking at HTC CDMA phones, I see a lot of different versions and not much tech spec difference. But there is no Generic HTC Forum, Or a generic HTC CDMA Forum.

So where would I post such a question?

Thank You Much! And peace be with you.

P.S
Um you might want to tell new posters...
If you are using NoScript, you need to enable yahooapis.com or you will lose your post. The first version of this post was far wittier and much more poetic. It was really a beautiful thing, but, alas it is now lost forever.

Oh and they should pick A picture cause somehow I ended up with a 'thumbs down'. I thought I picked nothing. Evil Monkeys!

I am going to move this to the Phone Comparison forum.

EDIT: What carrier are you looking for? For sprint I would recommend the touch pro 2, or waiting until early next year for the HTC Leo if you can.

REVENGE of the RED TRIANGLE!

The Red Triangle Mocks me, and makes me sad. I said I would kill it, but the Sisters conspired to deny my will. Blast them!

I guess I'll go do another intro post WITHOUT a question. They should tell us Noobs that if you ask a question in the intro forum, it will get moved, and you will have to do another Intro!

Maybe I'll post the epic tale of my battle with the wily RT! Feeling that.

Ok Phone comparison....
What I am really looking at is the HTC CDMAS all seem to have the same specs, from the vogue on up. The Titan through the Raphael. So how do I choose between them. Newer cost more, so just buy a vogue?

Also I will be flashing the heck out of this phone. I can see myself flashing back and forth between android and WM to compare them. Also cheaper is better.

hibby50 (Great Mover of THREADS) asked what network. I am thinking Boost, but I do not know it matters.

Re: Triangle Must Die!

After relooking at the HTC CDMA phones I have a "better question I think.

Why should I not just get a mogul?
1) They are cheep ~50USD
2) The hardware is very similar to the TP2 (~350USD), TP~175USD
3) Extra buttons!!
4) full keyboard.

Tell my why I should not get one, and what I should get instead. Or tell me I am right.

Thanks for posting and helping a NOOB spend his limited cash.

Re: Triangle Must Die!

I had a mogul for a year. It's a good phone. I always ran out of memory on it. If money is an issue, I would take a mogul over a "normal" phone any day. I do love love my tp2, it was well worth the money, but that's my opinion.

does the Mogul have a "full" browser on it?

What were you doing that caused the out of memory?

It seemed to me the TP2's hinge was a weak point. Is it good for you?
