Re: From TP2 to Droid back to TP2
I personally like the tp2 more for its easy working, for example
i found a cab online bam i download it put it on the phone its done w the droid you have to go to the marketplace i have both in front of me at the moment and have the droid activated at the moment ya its nice the keyboard is really a pain in the ***. I bought the body glove case for the droid and when its on the phone the top row of keys you can barely get too. Its really a pain in the *** to use with the case and im the type of person that likes to protect my phone. Yes technically looking at it, it is faster and a "better" phone i personally think tho that for the .5 millisecond it takes longer on the tp2 to do something you get a much better experience |
Re: From TP2 to Droid back to TP2
Today I walked into a VZW store all set to return my TP2 for the Droid, but had a last minute change of heart. I am a sh**ty speller, and having no spellcheck in SMS and Email is a huge no no for me. Also, I am not sure what kind of tether support is available, WiFi router...? It is a beautiful device though, just not sure if it will do everything I need it to do..

I don't like Motorola, I'm in the process of replacing my 4th Moto S9's BT headset through warranty. |
Re: From TP2 to Droid back to TP2
I like Windows Mobile simply because of the tweek-factor. If you don't like somthing, or somthing doesn't run quite right, it's likley theres a .cab out there to change it. Not to mention the versitality of cooked ROMs, ROM kitchens and the like.
WinMo has a steeper learning curve that anything else... but once you've got a moderate amount of knowledge on how it works, there's really not much you can't do (and it sounds like that soon going to include running Android if you'd like!). I just can't say the same about anything else I've tried (but I haven't played with Android enough yet to say one way or another). I can see my Touch Pro 2 carrying me until I need a next generation device to run WinMo 7. |
