Question 6800 or i760?

I'm on the fence on this one.
Eager to retire my 6700. Owned an i700 before the Apache and loved it.
So stick with HTC or go back to Samsung?
Opinions on the i760 so far?

The Samsung i760 is good, but I will be getting a XV6800 when it is released. Rev A, aGPS, 2MP cam, 256MB rom all better than the Samsung...

I'd prefer the i760 with the face dial pad myself.

If you're used to the 6700, you'll likely feel very at home with the 6800. I think the i760 will be a little more powerful hardware wise, but I don't believe it's upgradeable to EV Rev.A... Guess that depends on how much that matters to you. The uplink data speed is the only significant change. EV Rev. B will be the real upgrade, if it happens.

Can anyone comment about the screen brightness between the two? That's a big selling point for me.

The screen is a lot brighter on the i760 than it is on my XV6700. I have yet to see a live 6800 so i can not comment on that one...

Maximum 3.1Mbps down isn't a significant change? MUCH lower latency isn't either? I'd say both of those are pretty significant.

I would say the Mogul / 6800 is the more powerful unit. 256 Rom vs. 128, IR Port, Rev. a upgradable, higher res camera, more keys on the slide-out keyboard, better placement of Send/End keys, Scroll Wheel.......

After a month of having the device(and an impending financial issue) i have sold my i760 and will be patiently awaiting the XV6800, while using my trusty XV6700...
