what will i miss other than the qwerty?
i use mms and tether alot but i heard they are coming around

now remember this is temporary until windows mobile 7 comes out, or some killer HW like the zune HD on a phone

not hating on it, but I personally never liked Apple software, and the actual hardware keyboard is the bigger bonus for me

Personally I won't trade my pro for an iphone even if they gave me money, the iphone is a great phone for ease of use and dumb apps, but as far as really productivity goes the pro blows it out of the water. If you have been using and like WM I would not even think of switching

You will miss flash support on internet browsing but other than that I really cant think of anything besides the keyboard. Iphone keyboard is very responsive so its actually not that bad.

I use my ipod touch tethered to my TP for internet browsing. Sure flash doesn't work, but the YouTube app works great so I don't really care.

As far as normal browsing, the awesome ipod touch screen (I can read it perfectly out in bright direct sun) & safari combination blows away any WP option IMHO.

safari is weak, it doesn't even word wrap so when viewing pages like this thread you have to continually slide back and forth, safari is garbage. Opera by far best browser created.

Ease and functionality... I hated the Pre for that reason. IMHO, WinMo is one of the best OS's to configure and use.

@p-slim
The iphone screen is perfect for viewing this forum in landscape. It fits perfectly and the font size is beatiful.
@mkmkmk13
The iphone 3gs has a full qwerty keyboard.
If you really really wanted to, you could teather and send mms. just dont get caught by att, bad, bad things will happen.

The only bad thing about safari is that it does not have flash support, but it still loads any page twie as fast as my winmo phone did, when my winmo phone was on wifi and the iphone on 3g.

What i believe is the biggest downside of the iphone is that you need to use itunes. But i felt the same way with active sync.

Eer, if you use safari in landscape you don't need to wordwrap dude.

I use my touch on this site everyday & it is FAR FAR more enjoyeable than using Opera (the response of the screen & easy zooming blow away the TP).

When I don't have the touch with me, I use OperaMini for sites like this.
