upgrade to pro or palm pre
 

is the touch pro really that much better than the diamond. It seems to me that it just has a qwerty board built in, i am thinking about upgrading to the palm pre or the pro.the pre is brand new and sounds awesome were as the pro seems like the same phone, but i love my diamond and i LOVE WM 6.5. What do you guys think?

Honestly I'd wait til a week or so after the Pre is out, its either going to be the true iphone killer(even though I don't like the iphone) or its going to be a Treo Pro+1 and not that amazing....just got to wait and see.

man the touch pro 2 is coming out in the next month or so.

Yeah Im waiting for the Pro2 but I'm getting the Pre as well...

Just one look at the video of the Pre, sold me. If the basic software is that good, I can't imagine how the other apps are going to be...

I've never seen anything as stellar or fluid on a phone.

Sprint Touch Pro vs Treo Pro
 

I'm about to buy a new phone. I'm either getting the Touch Pro or the Treo Pro and I can't decide which...

Touch Pro Pros:
Large keyboard
Larger high-res screen
Memory
Custom ROMs!!!

Cons:
1350mah vs 1500mah on the Treo
Sliding keyboard
Custom ROMs!!! (I have a short attention span and might spend more time flashing than I should)

Treo Pro Pros:
Fixed front keyboard
More hardware buttons
1500mah battery

Cons:
320x320 screen
Small keyboard
Less memory, but still more than my 48MB Mogul.

HELP!!! Both devices seem like an improvement over what I have. In the past, I've had a 700wx (liked it, aside from Verizon), a Centro, a 755p, and a Mogul.

I'd especially welcome ideas from people who have owned or used both and liked one significantly better than the other. I use my phone for calls (sometimes), quick text messages (one reason I like the fixed keyboard), AIM, light web browsing.

i want the touch pro 2 but i dont want to spend another 600 or 700...........but still want to have a new phone.

Personally, I say get the Pro. But if you like the Palm OS and you like to write easy programs, or wanna learn, palm is the way to go. The learning curve is so much easier with Palm than windows for writing programs.

Pf course the Touch Pro 2 seems like the smart choice and it is! i owned 2 treo's and i was glad when i took the chance and got the Touch Pro. navigation is much easier on the TP. resolution is better. the interface is btter. so i guess what i am saying is IMO is that the Touch Pro Is "BETTER"

I have a diamond now and am actually going to give up my SERO plan and sell the diamond for a Pre, mesmerized by webOS that's for sure. If anyone wants my plan and or phone, PM me.
