Upgrade to Touch Pro or wait until Touch Pro 2
 

Currently on VZW 6800, will i be happy going to Touch Pro or should I wait until Touch Pro 2 comes out? Reports saying late Q2 release by HTC, no idea on when Verizon picking it up after that.

From what I saw last week, the late Q2 release by HTC is not in the states, but rather in Europe and Asia. I don't think we will see one for a US carrier until mid to late fourth quarter, at best.

Its announced that the TouchPro2 will have a 'broad release' which includes north american, but I don't think there hasn been any confirmation that the CDMA carriers will pick it up. I haven't heard much news regarding that front.

How about this, wait for the touch pro 2, buy my touch pro from me, and I will buy the touch pro 2 for myself :headbang:

i doubt vzn will pick it up any time this year. if they do pick it up this year it will probably be last Q and that would be something if they did pick up a phone that quickly.

Agreed, It takes VZN forever to come out with HTC devices, hince no Diamond :-)

As someone else on this forum put it quite aptly, VZW needs the extra time to figure out how to cripple the phone. :D

Don't buy the Touch Pro from verizon, but I would definitely recommend getting it from Sprint. Verizon just sucks in my opinion. Their equipment, service, and customer service all suck just as bad as any other carrier if not worse LOL

Agreed, Sprint's customer service has improved big time:-)
