cheapes way to go from Mogul to Touch Pro

title says it all. I have a mogul, about 6 months into me SERO contract. No protection plan. Any way to get a Touch Pro other than paying full price? Can you re-up an existing contarct? And can you even re-up SERO plans since they aren't offered anymore?

Short of insurance fraud, I'd say you're looking at paying full price. You won't be eligible for a discount for another 6 months, end even then it'll only be $75 off.

The only way to get the full discount would be to add another line. Maybe you have a friend/girlfriend/family member that would be willing to take your Mogul and pay their share of the bill? I called Sprint the other day b/c my wife wants on my plan, and they confirmed that I can add another line with the SERO plan since I already have one active.

Well with me I am up for a contract renewal and have that "new every two" plan so that already $100 off the $300 I assume VZW will ask for since thats the cost of it with Sprint. Then with my corp discount I get 25% off all phones and accessories so thats (300-100)=200*.25=150

Plus I will sell my 6800 to help cover that cost

well one idea what you can do you is this...

sell your mogul on ebay as is hopefully get about 150 - 200 from your phone.

the touch pro is about 579.00

So take $75.00 off your phone
Your money u got from selling your phone 150.00

So you got $225.00 subtract that from 579.00 = $359.00

this is the other best idea...when i bought my mogul a year ago i just upgraded before the phone came out i think, and i got the upstage i sold that on ebay and got 170 from it. I got it for 400.00 on ebay and in the end i paid about $230.00 for my mogul and saved a few hundred dollars and i got it brand new and not used. let me know if this will work for you :)

Sprint store had the touch pro at $750-ish when I looked. Stupid that they don;t have some sort o discounted "upgrade plan", especially when they are hemmoraging subscribers and thier stock is painful to look at.

On the line with Sprint now, I
ll ask what they can do for me. If I can get it for $200-$250, I'll get it, otheise, I'll just keep the mogul

Sprint stores are selling the Touch Pro at $579.99, and online at that price too... The $750 you might be thinking of is the price that Best Buy is selling the Touch Pro at without contract.

This other thread might help, although be careful with what you do... It can come back to bite you.

It details how people have got Sprint to swap their phones to Touch Pro's.. Hopefully it might give you some advice!

I will NEVER pay that much for a multi-functional phone even if it is a PPC.
