mogul owner. what will you do?

I have a brand new mogul. I don't know what to do cuz i want the pro.

1- sell it in about 2 weeks before the pro comes out so I still can sell it for $250. (Is is sellable at that price?) and then get the pro when it comes out and try to get all the discount possible. So the phone will cost me about $50.

2- hope that i will get the pro as an insurance replacement.

I also would like to get the diamond first and then return for a pro like many people suggested but I'm not sure if you get a crazy discount for the diamond that you will be able to reproduce the same crazy discount a second time right after you got one....

what you guys think?

this mogul is driving me crazy. it sooooo slow.........

If you sold it today on ebay you should be able to get 225-250 for the phone. If it is brand new in the box, never used, even more. I doubt the price will drop too dramatically after the pro and diamond are out for awhile. I think you'll be able to get at least 200 for the phone up until around Christmas time (especially for a new one).

Sell it in the proper forum here in case you get the Pro next month, but you'll have to meet Bargain Trader standards in the site as well...

if u bought from sprint and you are within your 30 day just say you don't like the mogul and ask to swap to the pro when it comes out

If you are within your 30 days you can return your mogul, however, you will not get a touch pro as an insurance replacement for a long time. Some people are still getting apaches when doing insurance claims on the apaches (but I think that is becoming rare). This is after the mogul has been out for a year as the apache replacement. Also you will probably not have any luck getting discounts on the touch pro if you just bought the mogul since I am sure you already used your discounts up on the mogul?

I didn't buy it. that is the insurance replacement for my apache.

i think what i will do is:

1. sell the mogul now for 250

2. buy the diamond full price

3. return the diamond after 29 days.

4. buy the pro using the $150 upgrade discount + 2x$70 credit for renewing contract on 2 lines + 100 MIR= $209

what do you think about that?

If it was a replacement phone, you still have your full upgrade discount, then just grin-and -bare it until the Touch Pro comes out. 1 month isn't that long a time.
