Current Mogul (Titan) User - Should I Switch??
 

Hey There,

I Currently have an HTC Mogul. I have been a user since it came out. I am pretty happy with the phone. I won a contest at work, and will be given a Touch from Sprint. Has any made the switch? I am seriously conserding just selling the phone, but I am intrigued by it and was wondering what other former Mogul users thought.

Having Both Devices I Can Tell You They Both Have Certain Advantages Over The Other...the 2 Main Ones Ar Speed On The Touch And Keyboard On The Mogul...aside From That...there Really Are No Differences...sell The Mogul And Enjoy The Speed And Memory Of The Touch Or Sell The Touch And Enjoy The Ease Of Texting With The Mogul...

Honestly it might be worth your while to just sell it and wait for the diamond to come out. Only problem is since Sprint just lowered the price of the touch, you might not get as much for it. I made the switch from the Mogul to the touch myself and havent looked back since. The larger amount of memory is awesome...I couldnt go back now.

But I did love my Mogul...it was a great phone.

i also currently own both and personally have ben loving my touch since i got it. i like to quite a bit of media stuff so the RAM of the touch is awesome for me. it is quite a bit quicker than my mogul. i do occsionaly miss my keyboard but i am so used to touchpal that i very rarely miss it. i normally have about 3000 texts a month so the keyboard thing is not tht big a deal to me anymore. really my advice is keep your mogul try out the touch and if you dont like it you can always go back to your mogul.

I started out with the touch because I was completely new to WM based devices and I thought that it just looked a lot nicer, which it does, and I thought the cube app was really cool. Then I got into texting and switched to the mogul and was really happy with that because of the keyboard and the ease of control. Come to find out. You can run the cube app on the Mogul just as you can the touch. They are pretty much the same phone hardware wise except the touch has more RAM.
Then I started messing around with some different onscreen keyboards, mainly touchpal, and was able to type very fast so I switched back to my touch.

I like the way the touch looks and feels and I like the extra RAM for speed. I do keep my mogul though just to play with and try out some of the different ROMS that are not available for the Vogue. It is all really a matter of personal preference.

also nobody mentioned wifi... I like the mogul because it has EVERY style comm radio. (I know gsm OR cdma) but still the mogul's the only device with;

Use the Touch with the WM 6.1 upgrade, you love all the upgrades. GPS, Slide to lock, MSN voice command etc

i actually just switched to the touch today. bought it for 150...in perfect condition. anyways i think its a great phone but i still need to update the software to the newest rom. im keeping my mogul to mess with and learn how roms work.
