Re: Could the release of the Samsung Instinct cause a Cold war amoung users?
I think it's a bit silly to expect tons of advertising for this phone. It doesn't make sense for Sprint to advertise an old phone like the Titan any more. I love my device, it's got everything I want, but I'm not going to pretend it's always going to be cutting-edge, especially with the Touch Pro on the horizon.
If Sprint is looking forward past the Titan, then I don't really see how that affects us. The phone still works, and there is still going to be a ton of community support for it (look at how the 6700 is still going strong). |

Re: Could the release of the Samsung Instinct cause a Cold war amoung users?
I think if Sprint want to stay a contender in the mobile phone market, they need to listen to their customer. Alot of great phones are being released only as GSM versions. Like the Nokia "N" series , Samsung i900, etc... They really need to get on the ball. I don't think they should go GSM, but Hybrid CDMA/GSM is the way to go. They need to really start pressuring companies like Nokia, LG, Samsung, Eten -Acer, etc... to make more phones compatable with Sprint's network.

Re: Could the release of the Samsung Instinct cause a Cold war amoung users?
Sorry but this thread seems silly.
The Mogul/Vogue devices are older... Of course Sprint is spending more money on new products. Why spend money on products that probably only have about 3-4 months left. Cold war among users?? You can't be serious. If people like the Instinct and get it. Good for them. As a Titan user, I am perfectly happy for them. |

and think of the Samsung Instinct being new money (remember the 1920's and old $ vs new $) or the Window Mobile Devices as being old farts and the Samsung Instinct being the know it all teenagers sure you can co exist but at times.... |

I doubt the Instinct will cause even a blip on the Mogul/Vogue radar screen. If it turns out to be very popular.. great. I think Mogul/Vouge users will be totally fine with it. |
