First, thanks for the links. There's lots of good info in them & it's fairly well solidified my decision to go with the 6800. The battery life alone is worth it.


As for searching.... yeah, I did. Granted, I've not much experience with this forum, but I find the search function to be pretty useless. For example, it won't allow you to use words with 3 or fewer letters. So, you cannot do a search for "Apache Vs Titan." Nope... won't let you. So, you search for "Apache Titan" and get pages & pages of all sorts of posts that have nothing to do with what you're looking for. It's frustrating.

That being said, I do like the forum... if you have the time to browse, it's a goldmine. Plus, there's *almost* always someone like you who is willing to help others out & point them in the right direction.

I think the difference here is that one of you ran across an honest rep and the other didn't! REBURBS ARE NOT consistently RELIABLE and are often (especially when refurbished by MFR or Telegistics NZ) formerly faulty units which may or not work well after being refurbished.
