From Mogul to Touch....

I had a mogul since november and after having it replaced due to manufacturer defects 4 times, I have switched over to the Touch... and WOW, 73Mb of RAM on boot, snappier and a brighter screen! The only thing i've noticed is that the screen isn't as "precise" as the mogul, maybe its because of the gel in the LCD between the screen and cover. Thats not even a big deal.

I really like that i can use macflo without problems now, but my question is are there any other sweet apps or games which require a good amount of ram to run smoothly out there? Ya know, something friendly with my new touch?

I dunno how much memory these programs take up but they are two of my favorite so far. pocketCM which threads your text messages (just gotta try to stay under 300 messages though or it gets a little sluggish.) pocketCM also organizes your contacts kinda iPhoneish, if you will. the other is the S2U2 pack (S2U2, S2P, S2V) its a slide to unlock like the iphone and the slide to play work in conjunction wih the slide to unlock. sorry, its after dinner and i had a lil much wine or i could describe it better.

but yeah those two get my votes...

Fa sho, oh and i just saw this yesterday.... On the S2P when used with S2U2 you can hit the power button and the screen turns off, but the music doesnt. Also, if you keep a well organized music library (which my recent transition to a MacBook has forced me to do) the S2U2 screen will change to the album art embedded in the song. That astounded me the other night, but then again, simple mind, simple pleasure.

Negrito - youre right, that little feature in s2p and s2u2 is pretty simple and sweet. little things like that matter, its what completes the entire picture.

Jethro_static - You think you can hook it up with a link or cab for TTR? Guitar hero is waaaay better on the touch! Great call!
