I'm on the edge of buying a PPC, Touch or Mogul?
 

I'm on Sprint right now, and my 2 year extension upgrade is coming up June 1st, and being an obsessively paranoid buyer when it comes to long term commitments, I'm having a hard time chosing between the two. So a few general questions, and basically I just want your opinion of the two phones:

1.Does the Mogul support MicroSD cards of 4GB like the Touch? Does the Mogul have it's music player organized well, like the Touch, with Artists, Albums and such?
2.What's the difference in battery life and processors in the two?

For me, the main reason I'm considering the Mogul over the Touch is that the Mogul has an integrated keyboard, which is a major selling point for me, over a touchscreen keyboard.

3.Is there any major downsides to the Mogul compared to the Touch either externally (MicroSD slots, USB ports, overall setup) or in terms of processors, programs and such that I should be aware of before getting a Mogul over the Touch?

4.It shouldn't be an issue to get TouchFlo and make the Mogul's setup more Touch-esque through some downloads, right?

And most importantly, which would you reccomend?

(And btw I realize my profile says my phonoe is the Touch, which is because I registered it when I made this account before I considered the Mogul, and now of course I'm going reconsidering that decision-just to keep away any confusion)

I was just in your situation and I went with the Mogul. The Keyboard is a plus for people who text a lot. I believe that the Touch has more internal memory than the Mogul, and it may be a little smaller in size (again the keyboard). I also do not believe that the Touch has Rev A yet, but the Mogul does. If it is not in your area or you live in a rural area, then this may not be an issue for you. Also, as you mentioned, you can tweak the Mogul to look like the Touch. Again, from what I've read here, you can't go wrong with either phone. Good luck and I hope this helped.

I just ordered a Sandisk 4 gig MicroSD memory card. I also had a question concerning the larger size MicroSD cards. I saw a lot of cards with SDHC and was wondering as well if these thype were compatible with the Mogul. maybe someone will answer this ? as well.

I'm running a SanDisk 6GB card in my Mogul with no problems. Others are using 8GB cards, and supposedly 32GB will work when they come out.

ihave a 4gb sdhc and an 8gb sdhc and both are working fine. but i am also running no2chems rom. also the mogul has wifi and gps and the touch doesnt. the touch has twice the ram as the mogul.

I am in the same boat. For me, I like the Touch, but the I can't seem to find out when the EVDO will be upgraded to Rev A. And if like the Mogul, will it unlock the GPS functionality. And will it give the Touch WiFi?

I'm not a big texter, so I don't care about the keyboard, and I like how thin the Touch is.
