Bout to jump ship to Android, someone stop me.
I've been waiting for WP7 for so long on sprint that i have even considered going to ATT and getting the samsung focus, but i heard it's having issues with the upgrade. Im on sprint and i've loved my TP2, but it's time to move on. I was hoping sprint would come out with a 4" screen phone, but they are not the TP7 is not even going to have a microsd slot. My wife wants an iphone, which i will never do for my own, but ATT does have the Atrix, which has unreal specs, a finger print sensor, front camera, dual core, and swype preinstalled, but it's android.
i'm not too thrilled about android and i see the real potential in window phone 7, but it's not there yet. so i'm considering jumping ship for at least a year and then making the switch to wp7 once AT&T has a good phone. However, i am unsure because i don't know if going GSM is bad considering that i'm on CDMA. With GSM i do have the ability to use any phone that i want. The only thing that has been holding me back was the prince of my unlimted plan, but i just realized that AT&T has almost the same plan. I don't know what to do. At this point i think it's WP7 on verizon, or android on AT&T since my wife wants an iphone. |

Yes the Atrix has the specs, but the issue is that the OS and games don't really take advantage of those specs. So even lower spec WP7 will have better looking games and more responsive OS performance.

Does anyone know if the HTC phones are the better ones to have when it comes to hacking them. Would it be best for me to stick to the pro7 or would i be able to do the same with the samsung focus. |

vzw will have a wp7 worldphone coming out in june. essentially the same as the 7pro on sprint but with a sim slot for all sorts of various unlocking goodies.
Verizon’s HTC Trophy is a world phone, might not launch until June | BGR |

If coverage is the only thing holding you back I'd do the 30 day worry free guarantee and take it home for a few days with a temp number on AT&T. If you don't like it, return it. Your Sprint lines will not even be affected :)
