Confused! - Looking to Upgrade Sprint Phone.
 

I am about to upgrade my sprint phone. Currently I have the HTC Touch Pro. While I loved the phone, I'm always one of those that buys the phone and then two months later a new upgrade comes out that's better than what I've bought.

I love HTC phones and currently I'm looking at the HTC EVO.. however knowing that it's already been out for a few months, I'm thinking that as soon as I bite the bullet, a new version or an upgrade will be out.

Originally I was going to get the Touch Pro 2, however I've recently learned that with the new windows mobile 7 coming out that there will not be an upgrade to that phone. So I'm not wanting to put down that kind of money on that phone only to have it be outdated before it even arrives.

Anyone have any suggestions about what I should get? I'm a techie and love to have the latest features.

Should I buy now, or wait until Christmas/First of the year!

Thanks for any suggestions that anyone has to give me.

It all depends on what you want to do...
I'm waiting for WP7 before I upgrade from my tp2.
Others have switched to Android phones. And others have left Sprint.

Go to the trheads that apply to the phones you are considering and make an educated decision when the time comes. You can find WP7 info in my signature. Go to the Evo threads and to the Epic thread. Then to any other phone you may be looking at. I know It's not much help but no matter what anyone tells you... Only YOU know what you want and don't want from a phone. Don't just take someone's suggestion run with it. It's alot like buying a car... Ford! Chevy! Import! Domestic! German! etc... Until you find what's right for you... Everyone's opinion is jus that. An opinion.

Youknow that was exactly how I ended up with the touch pro! If I had listen to myself I would have ended up with the tp2!

Well Good luck bro...
I love my TP2 and I came from the TP before that. (My wife loves it now. lol)
But I Always look at one thing first... Budget. Then I consider EVERYTHING else.

I left sprint... that opened up a lot more choices :)

Best of luck, there are some interesting things happening right now in the mobile space. Anything you get is going to be obsolete the day it ships, so don't get too hung up on that. I'd buy something that does what you want NOW, not "maybe someday in the future after several updates".
