Made my effing day!!...my cuzin bought a hero exactly a month b4 evo release date lol because i "accidently" forgot to tell him bout this godly device i hold in my hand...soo he extremly mad and trying to get one sooo bad...but hes a noob anyway...average joe user...would bother all day to root/update it...so i have good reason

The Hero was my first android phone. It was so bad, I almost switched to iphone a couple weeks ago. Luckily I couldn't find any apple stores with stock so I was stuck upgrading to EVO. Best decision I've ever made. So glad I didn't buy Iphone4 and also glad I don't have that slow laggy hero anymore. EVO is hands down the best phone on the market. Not even a discussion.

Look this is what you do, just buy it for her and tell her its the hero 2 4g with the upgraded screen, ram and cpu. But seriously, its your account and if you are are buying it for her then just get her the best bang for your buck.

Seriously though...the Hero is old school in comparison. I am sure the BF loves his Hero, but I'll bet he would take a free Evo upgrade if he was offered it.
