Iphone 4 Comparisons
 

I am sick of seeing all of these comparisons showing that the new Iphone's video recording is superior to the EVO. Where were camera comparisons when the Iphone had a crappy 3.2 mp and phones like the Droid or even Hero had far superior optics. I dint see any comparisons when my HTC Diamond had 3 times the resolution of the previous Iphones. Heck where were the comparisons and mentions when the Iphone couldn't even simply shoot video at all which isn't too long ago? How about comparing front facing camera quality, browser speed, screen size, 3g speed, network quality, actually being able to enjoy the high speed web (not edge) without caps and extra fees, 4G speed (oh my bad), HDMI out (hmm,sorry again), video calling over 3G(starting to see a pattern here), and a myriad of other things. I am tired of fanbois ignoring the obvious shortcomings while only manifying the positives. . Its funny/hilarious to me that the Iphone 3GS was the Lord of all phones a couple months ago, but in order to highlight the improvements of the new Iphone they trash it and effectively chalk it up to nothing more than having 5 year old technology and features. Whatever is convenient for the advancement of the Apple argument at any specific moment seems to be the normal mode of operation. Just my 2 cents....errr...rant...LOL.

Couldn't agree with you more. There are a multitude of phones that have been beefier and more customizable since the first iPhone released. iPhone has a great app store and a "dummy" proof interface. Android has really closed the gap, but Apple just has a brainwashed customer base that absolutely goes crazy for anything they say. Its really kind of sad IMHO, but what can you say? They are making money hand over fist.

i'm pretty sure people are too busy worrying about yellow spots on the screen, call reception issues, crappy att coverage and scratching the glass back to care about any comparisons right now...

i mean, it's not really fair to compare a phone that you can't even hold to the EVO... ;)

the IPhone 4 has a better GPU than the Evo, with better resolution and much better battery life, records video better, some would argue it has a better UI, it is made of much better material than the cheap crap htc uses. iOS also has many more and much better apps than Android, which is important to people. And economically the device has a much higher resale value.

what are you comparing here Spring or ATT? Because Spritn is easily a better network, but it's funny how most of the smack talk is about the network, and not the phone.

Having said that I like the Evo about the same as I like the iPhone 4.

much of what u said is fact oranekid but just as much is opinion. better ui, i personally disagree. materials, personally id rather have a phone made of plastic than glass. more apps, of course but more crapware also. just becuase there are more doesnt mean that more of them are good. better apps, once again subjective. the rest like i said are facts that cant be argued.

plus we can hold our phones however we want and we wont lose reception :D ;)
