Re: MatBee - WM 6.5 23075 ROM - Complaints and Requests

Thanks for this release. Here's two issues I'm having:
1) When viewing my exchange email (active sync), none of the contact names are showing up. Just the subject, date and file size. I'm using the Windows Default skin
2) When I hit the green button, and scroll through my contacts, the screen still distorts. This has been an issue with the other builds as well (including Cfays).

Thanks again for your efforts!

Okay, I've heard of one other instance of the exchange mail displaying <Unknown Sender>... Let me look in to this... I think this is because of my language DLL's, I'm on the hunt!

Thanks for the release. The only issues I am having is with using RealVGA. Once it is enabled, the bottom bar on the home screen does not load. It is all white and causes the spinning circle to stay on when viewing the home screen.

The other (later) 6.5 releases had other issues with the themes and RealVGA but not missing the bottom bar altogether.

Is anyone able to get RealVGA to work with the later 6.5 releases? I suspect that a modified 96dpi pack might be needed.

That sounds like a shellres.96.dll issue... I'm going to be busy until Sunday, and I'm at work, but if you extract a shellres.96.dll from 23071 or 23075 and put it in /Windows/, maybe it'll work?

Also how do you access your favorites inside of Internet Explorer? The Favorites button is the start button, and I can't seem to find out where I can find them, other on the home screen.

Thanks for your help

I found that if your click and hold inside a website you can access your favorites from there.

Yeah, I don't normally browse websites on my phone.. I just use it to look pretty.

I think if you look in the 'windows' folder, there's your 'favorites' folder in there. Thanks!

No complaints so far... Everything is as smooth as it can be... and to help out Internet Explorer issues... just use IEtoggle and it converts some menus and of course IE back to normal and it makes it perfect for use... REALLLLY LIKE IT!!

P.S there is always that task manager problem though lol :P
