Ok well I promised myself I wouldnt do this, BUT I need one last hoorah while waiting for the TP2 to be done. Please list what you would like to see in a rom. Please keep these reasonable and on task!

WM6.5 (current version you have works great). Actually, the only things I'm thinking about now would be...

• Some type of Weather panel (e.g. TitaniumWeather, though I haven't tried it yet to see if it works)
• reStart to organize the menu in WM6.5
• Favorites Plugin
• Sprite OEM backup in ROM
• Probably a few reg tweaks (if not already done) like MaxConnectionsperserver, OpenDNS, glyphcache, power tweaks
• No MSN Messenger
• .NET 3.5 in ROM?
• WoW HD or HTC Audio Manger
• Push Side button trick (2 functions for side button, instead of 1)
• Bing instead of Live Search--or neither, to be added later
• TreoAlerts? It's so damn popular

I dunno, that's just some random things :mrgreen:

Well, IMHO, I would just like to see:

a Weather Panel
Sprite Backup(I miss it already)
Some way to organize the start menu
Bing, Google Maps...
.NET 3.5
TaskFacade bound to the Calendar button..

oh! and maybe if you can find ways to lower the memory usage :( sitting at 80% is the pits.

That about finishes it up..

A lot of people like the TF2D and it is still kinda new to the TreoPro so perhaps your clean 6.1 with TF2D built in...

Tweaks:
Some sort of folder organization within the start menu, eg: tools, multimedia, etc.
The 'keygaurd' and 'screensaver' back in the settings. They are curiously missing in the 6.5.1 version of your rom.
The ability to have custom 6.5 Taskbars (the 6.1 stock did not allow you to have one, and I'm scared to try it in the 6.5.1 because of the new bottom menu thingy (which I hate)
A different soft keyboard. ew.
How about some smaller stuff? Everything is WAY too big for this screen.

Real VGA is out of my control. I didnt develop that app. Sprite im working on.

FlexMail has always been hideous and clunky to me.. i sorta like the native messaging :S

Oh yeah, QuickGPS is a must and FE Extension is very nice indeed. Yeah, TF2D is a kind of a hog (but so is Flexmail, lol).

Google Maps is cool (like others have said) BUT, that app gets updated a lot (like Bing) so within a few weeks/months, the one in ROM will be outdated and you'll have to install a new one in Program Memory, negating the benefit.

The best stuff in ROM doesn't expire ;-)

We can do what the carriers are doing: Icon/URL links that go directly to those sites to download the latest version? I really like that compromise.
