Had the Treo pro for a week or so , and decided to get Garmin XT installed on it., I had before HTC touch pro and used a different Garmin XT , worked .,yet with the TReo iam having problems ., 2/3 the way installing the program , the instruxtions indicate run Garmin and say yes , and ok..etc my phone gives error about a file , and sends error report, .I tried to use anther memory card to redo the isntalation , but know i get a beep and no error report and no name for the file , cant remember was with Q word in it,
the garmin file is 1.2 GB ., anyone was able to get the treo to work with this .

Maybe you should call Garmin, since they provide support for people who pay for their software. So it should be no problem, right?

Try updating the base map and supplement software.

I'm running XT on my Touch Pro, but haven't ever been able to get it to work on the wife's Treo Pro. Judging by the error I got (can't remember now what it was exactly) it has to do with the screen resolution and DPI settings.

There are some threads regarding hacking the DPI settings in order to get more programs working on XVGA, just haven't tried that yet.

I am running Garmin XT ver 5 without any problem. Works like a charm. No need to install any DPI program

i have also been running it for months sence i got the phone in march. i have never had a problem. even after i hard reset the phone as soon as it picks up the micro sd card garmin reinstalls its self.
