Can't Surf internet?
 

I got my Treo Pro in the mail today. After activating it and syncing it with my computer (I'm upgrading from a Treo 700wx, using sprint's service) and I find that I can't surf the internet. Any page I go to says page cant be found.. is there anything special i need to configure or did I get a dud?

A quick search doesn't show anything, I figure I'll ask you guys before calling sprint.

as long as u started with the basics(make sure phone is programmed correctly, turn on data in comm manager)
if so, then u might wanna hard reset then try again

Go to 'Update Profile' on System tab of Settings.

Just to follow up, it ended up that I messed up a step of the activation process. After I went back to redo it, everything worked fine!

does anyone else have problems getting on line? there are times that i cant get on and get the same message as above-page can't be fine.
when i check my online status , it's all good and i have decent bars.
anyone know why?

kita, have u tried a hard reset? also, the ICSenable cab might fudge ur registry up the first time u install it(i had to do some things to fix the web after installing that cab)

I had this problem and fixed it with the "Update Profile" option in the settings->system menu. If you have a custom rom that doesn't have this option, you can get the cab from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=517511
