Registry Hacks, Tweaks and .cabs

Hey guys i just have a noob question. I am a fairly new WM user and just wondered if anyone could tell me what the process is to install .cab files and are they hard to put on the device???

not hard at all...so easy it kind of scary at first...just save .cab to either device or micro sd...i prefer the micro sd myself...then file explorer to find it and click on it to install...if you want to remove it...goto add/remove programs...

I'm sorry I haven't stated that I've used phone as a modem on previous wm phones... when its time to connect it sends me an error dial code#67 or something like that! which leads me to believe this phone is not registered for such! Not that I'm doing anything wrong! And the post i replied to was talking about conection via bt not USB! sorry for your confusion!

does any have the winrar .cab...? for ppc download...if so can you post it or give some directions...pls...tia

pocket rar (ppc version) install from a pc, tho
winrar (pc version) install is the same as above

i actually found a cab for pocket rar, so no need for pc to install, now

skee...this(winrar) is very important to me...and thanks by the way...how do you install winrar ppc version to my device after its DL to labtop...short tutorial whenever you get spare time would be very cool...

Just picked up a treo pro.. I am a touch pro user but want to start upgrading my treo.

How do you backup just contacts from Sprite?
I am use to the PIMbackup that made it very simple to check what you wanted to back up. I can always install PIM, but I would like to give Sprite a chance.

Also anyone have Mp3 Trimmer cab that works on the treo Pro?
The one I installed is for the Diamond and it cuts out the bottom of the screen, still functional, but it is tidious to watch.

Hey! I don't have answers to your questions but wanted to give a shout out to another Mighty Rom Touch Pro refugee. I moved from the Touch Pro to the Treo Pro last week and am so far loving it. I'm not sure what to do with all the "flash time" I have left over now

Lol, there is very little to do with the Treo. I know. I actually have both. I am deciding wether to keep my TP or stay with the Treo. I am using my Blackberry's line for the time being. I just got a good deal on the Treo, so I picked it up. $150 new at best buy.....
