Offical Facebook App Problem
 

Hey Guys!


Been more of a lurker then poster on this site.

I just downloaded the "official" facebook app from Microsoft and installed it. BUT every time I try to log in it freezes that handset and I have to pull the party to restart.


Anyone else having problems??

Did you soft reset ur phone after you install face book...
if you do then try to uninstall it and installer again and see
what happens.... im on wm 6.5 and works great.
i have no problem with it so try that and see what happen.

Did a soft reset...uninstalled my other facebook apps...tried to uninstall and reinstall...tried device and storage card installs...with no luck.


If I still had my touch pro I would be running 6.5 but the lack of custom roms of the treo pro is keeping me ground to 6.1 :(

There is no official facebook app out for WM yet...theres the version that was ripped out of 6.5 by XDA but that's not totally stable on all phones..

Another thread is talking about this. Apparently in program files/facebook there is a facebook.vol, maybe, if you delete that it works.

Wrong. You can download the official Facebook app for Windows Mobile at Microsoft's Total Access site.

I really thought this was a plam issue and not a WM issue so i posted over here.
