Went to Best buy to check it out, it is available to get now. you can even buy it for 249 with two year contract. I did not attempt to get it but the salesman had no problem pushing me to get it and wanted me to leave with it.

Did someone actually buy one yesterday at bestbuy??

I'm not planning on getting it. I am going to hold out and see how the Pre does before I make another purchase.

Yep you can find them on Best Buy's website right now, but only the unlocked version for $599. I think people are looking for when the Sprint version will be out for around $249.

Interesting. About a week and a half ago I was at my Best Buy here in Wilmington, NC and played with their Treo Pro dummy and talked with the sales guy about it (he had no ideas of release dates for it btw). Yesterday, I was in there and they had pulled it. No hint of a Treo Pro. I didn't get a chance to talk to a sales person though, so don't know if this means anything at all.

i went into Best Buy in Atlanta yesterday and they had plenty of the unlocked gsm versions of the phone in stock for $599, but no word on the version for Sprint yet.
