Sync problems-not connecting
 

Everytime I try to connect to my PC all it does is charge the phone, both the phone and the PC don't aknowledge the connection. I've tried changing settings on both, soft resetting, and using different cables but nothing works!

EDIT: Ok, I managed to get it to sync, but now I can't open anything that shows a list of my contacts. So I can't call or view my contacts, messaging strangely still works though.
