Tough Time Deciding between 800w messaging or not

i have had the 800w and this is my second treo pro(first one wasnt in good condition so got it in a week) i installed 800w messagin..i love it...but the MMS is a PAIN and cuz u either have to to go online to get them or have them email u. either way..annoyance. but there are no other good SMS chats out there..i tried like 5...sms-chat by vito is great.....except u can see what ur typing without having to hit enter or some BS like that, im not dealing with that pain. the OEM treo pro messaging is no the worst..but just so lame.

i tried SmmS and i didnt like it.

so either..have full functional mms and lower quality sms

OR

high quality sms and NO mms.

ohhh what a decision!

do you get the constant text repeats from months and months ago?

I tried the 800W messaging and my phone would retrieve old messages every time I reset it. This occurred 6-8 times and then stopped happening.

I prefer the 800W messaging xface to the std version, but don't like how it's not integrated with the built-in messaging (email/SMS/etc) and also doesn't show SMS alerts on the LCD when the phone is in power-down.

Unfortunately, the only way I could remove it was with a hard reset :(
