Error sending text message!!
 

my phone will not allow me to send text messages its wierd. it just happen on sat all of a sudden and when i try to send one it says "we're sorry a problem has occured with messagingapp.exe. . . . . blah blah blah" in the threaded messages it shows it in a grey font as still pending. i did a hard reset but then loaded everything back with sprite backup and the problem is still there. is there anyway i can just uninstall that app and then reinstall it? or does anyone else have a solution? thanks!!

ok sorry for the double post but i found a similar post in the forums where i erased the PlamMsgVol001 and now it seems to be working fine but it wont alert me when a new text comes thru. i went to fix the alert under sounds and notifications and it doesnt even play the alert there??

Same thing happened to me. I had to hard reset and then recently it wasn't showing my sent messages. Im starting to hate hard resets once a month

yea i hate them also!! i backed up with sprite then hard reset and restored with sprite and to no surprise it still wasnt working. i will have to restore back to a later date like a month ago but i have made a lot of changes since then. i hate this phone!! i will soon be getting the blackberry tour when it comes out just to satisfy my craving until the HTC TOUCH PRO 2 comes out!!!!

One of the things I learned using back up was to back up every time before I installed a new app. That way if a new app messed up the OS I could restore to the previous back. My suggestion is hard reset then install an app and test. If it works back then install a second app. Continue until you find the culprit. This can be a long trouble shooting step but at least you will know what may be causing your problem.

I hate windows mobile. I did when I had my mogul and went to blackberry and got bored. Now I'm stuck with this terrible 800w. Is there anyway going into sprint and telling them the software is messing up and I have hard reset 3 times this week.
