today theme help
 

Okay, so I got my treo 800w in a trade for a touch diamond and I came here first to find apps and stuff to download. Then I saw that I could cgange the today screen theme which I am big on modding out my phone. Dannzeman< hope I got that right, love the registry tweeks you have provided thus far and to all that have [ut in time and effort in finding them. But what I need is a how to on oading a theme, apps to install on getting the theme to work and stuff like that. I have scowered this section on 800w apps and am a little slow on how to do it still. I installed spbmobileshell 3.1 I believe, could be wrong on that. But I didn't see any change in my today screen. I have since done a hard reset on my phone to restore it back to normal and am now wanting to know how to load some cool themes and apps onto my phone. Thanks in advance for any help you guys provide and please don't flame me for asking a help question I know is posted on this site somewhere.

its one thing to get an opinion vs, asking an already answered ?..in ur case, its an opinion:
for my today screen i have spb mobile shell, and a pic of the new yankee stadium as the background. mobile shell has a color theme app installed already(mines is black right now) with the 4 tabs on the top and thats it...

thanks skee. i downloaded mobile shell last night and like it so far. was just wondering how to configure this thing to get some cool looking themes

np...now the new version is a lil diferent than the prev version(at least the look and interface is different) so if u have ne more ?'s about the new or prev version and how to set it up to ur liking, jus ask

Skee yes i have a ques ti0on for you that i asked in a reply a couple up. How did u customize your theme or is it a learn as u go deal? T/u in advanced pimpin aint easy but it sure is fun!!!:headbang::mrgreen:

when u say customize, what exactly are u trying to change??? depends on the type of change, whether u can mod it or not

lol..i thankd u for that comment, but tell me about, sumthin like 26 homeruns hit in a 6 game home stand(first night home game rained out, would've been 7-game home stand)...now they got all kinda engineers testing to see if there is a "wind tunnel" effect...if u ask me..it boils down to pitching, man.

ok so like I sadi earlier I downloaded the spb mobile shell 3.1 and i set the lifestyle screen like i want it. so here's my question, i like having themes on my phone. I saw this final fantasy theme at ppcgeeks that i want and from mega and i am trying to figure out how to download it to my phone is all. I have active sync installed on my computer but i don't have th eusb cable for my phone to hook up to my computer. Is that necessary to download themes onto my phone or can I use my phone browser.
