Internet calling VoIp with treo 800w
 
i have tried all of the steps on this site and xda-developers.... and i seem to not get the extra "TAB" for internet calling. anyone have any ideas. i did follow the instructions to the "T" on both the site here and there and also tried a few others. nothing.

please help!!!

Ok, finally found the threads you were talking about. I'm thinking that instead of adding a tab, you might have to change one to what you need. I haven't tried messing around with HTC Home for quite some time.

I know its a older thread, but post in there and see what others have done.

i tried it as well and i wind up with 2 internet calling items in today however none show up on the screen. i also cannot uninstall it. you must hard reset to get rid of it.

VOIP / Internet Calling doesn't work well (if at all) on CDMA devices. The low level driver is looking for a SIM card. No2Chem worked on this for a while hasn't produced a fix yet.

looks like time to dump this treo 800w then.... i really wanna get this to work. gonna have to check with the guys over at xda-developers and see which hyc device they suggest. i mostly want to do it cuz i can, but i got a asterisk server to help me make the free calls thing, but sometimes i have no service but can get a WiFi signal so this would be helpful
